Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) Supplier Diversity Program
The Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act encourages and supports eligible businesses to play a greater role in the economy of the State by increasing participation in New York State's contracting opportunities. The OGS Division of Service-Disabled Veterans' Business Development is responsible for certifying eligible SDVOBs and assisting and promoting their participation in the state's procurement activities. JCOPE can help certified SDVOB firms identify procurement opportunities within the agency.
Please reference the NYS Office of General Services Division of Service-Disabled Veterans' Business Development web site for more information: https://ogs.ny.gov/Veterans/.
JCOPE has established SDVOB participation goals, which require contractors to complete a SDVOB Utilization Plan and/or a Request for Waiver. These plans are made available on this webpage pursuant to 9 CRR-NY Part 252.2(k). JCOPE is committed to engaging SDVOBs to achieve the agency's six-percent participation goal.
